About the company:

Hallsbergs smide AB has been around for more than 70 years and we currently have about 35 employees. Our core values are fast deliveries, high quality, and extensive craftsmanship. We operate within three different customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing, and construction metalwork.

We also perform work directly at customer sites.

We have a broad expertise in sheet metal processing and machining. Our focus is on low-volume manufacturing such as prototypes and smaller series. We work with commonly used steel grades, stainless steel, and aluminum.

We are currently certified in ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, and EN ISO 1090-1, which means that those who weld have welding licenses.

We are seeing an increasing demand for our services. Therefore, we need to strengthen our organization with an employee.

Job description: Team leader for outdoor jobs and sometimes participate in assembly (welding). The job can be adapted to your experience.

Main focus: Repair/construction metalwork / (manufacturing details)

Based on drawings and instructions and independent problem-solving, lead personnel in the execution of repairs/welding.

Construction metalwork: From simple railings to erecting steel frames with walls and roof sheets, etc.

Workshop: Manufacture components with a focus on sheet metal processing.

Your qualifications:

Experience in welding various types of materials, primarily black material. At least 3 years of experience in outdoor jobs where welding/problem-solving and team leadership are a major part of your work.

If you have a welding license in any area, it is a plus.

We place great importance on your personal qualities as we work under significant individual responsibility.

Experience in participating in calculations/quotations is an advantage.

Normally, work is performed in our local area, so there are no overnight stays.
